Chilson's Poultry Software is a complete management and records system. Our highly-customizable system has the ability to track metrics by gender and project hatchable eggs, which is invaluable when scheduling bird placements. It is also extremely easy to navigate with features like screen inquiry and search functions.

Our hatchery system provides the link between breeder and growout flock records. Fertile eggs are tracked from the day of production through the entire hatch cycle. All expenses are recorded and associated as chick cost when the birds are placed in grow-out.

Designed for integrated broiler and turkey producers, CMC's grow-out flock records provide an extensive record-keeping system of files that is utilized for detailed feed scheduling and to produce completely customizable settlements. Detailed settlements include full expense tracking, condemnations, live haul and performance incentives such as integrators, producers, farms, houses, service persons, standards, nutrients, recommended formulas, flocks and flock histories. It is ODBC compatible for special reportsand graphing, and includes configurable expense and income fields.

When the Farmer's Almanac isn't enough, turn to Chilson's flock projection system. The system will project layerbird numbers, feed consumption, and egg production. Once prices are set and orders taken, you can analyze sales, compare market prices, and assign stand-alone or integrated purchase orders. Our features are specifically designed for processing plants and perishable distribution, which includes the ability to generate market-based pricing and capture catch weights.

Getting your trucks organized for dispatch is of the utmost importance, and our system gives your exactly what you need to generate freight invoices, store driver records, and monthly time logs. Feed Industry Software

CMC's feed industry software is a one-stop system that addresses all the needs of feed mills. With software that is both highly-developed end user friendly, you can take efficiency to the next level. Our feed mill interface system will automatically interface with your batch controller, your nutritionist, and other CMC software. If you purchase local grain, our commodity purchase system provides invaluable tools to manage your supplies. Other inventory management components such as our purchase order and inventory/processing systems can be used as stand-alone applications or dully integrated.

We also have all the tools you need to get sales orders on the road. Our software can create freight invoices and detailed reports on the activities of drivers, trucks, and trailers. With CMC dispatch and the trucking P & L system, you can effectively manage dispatch information no matter how long the journey.

 

CMC Order Entry/Pricing System

We know the priorities of sales order processing are speed and efficiency. Our order entry screen is designed specifically for the poultry and perishable industry and is generally acknowledged to be the best in the business. One example is pricing. We understand how perishable pricing works. It is often customer and product specific then limited to a range of dates. In many cases it is based on a published market price. We have developed a variety of pricing options to deal with all the challenges associated with commodity products. CMC Accounts Receivable - Sales Analysis System

Our Sales Analysis Reports include 2 units (cases/dozens, cases/pounds, tons/pounds, etc.) as well as dollars. We have the ability to report on Profitability by Customer and by Route. We have reports that show prior year comparisons by customer and product. Our A/R Aging is over and under payments, disputed invoices, short weight, credits and returned items. We make it easy to apply payments for chain stores, one bill to with multiple ship to locations, The A/R also includes a cash collection report, a historical inquiry screen, and many other features.

 

CMC Accounts Payable

The feedback that we get from our clients about our accounts payable system says it all. The words we hear over and over again are reliable, friendly, and efficient. A/P has the ability to enter and release vouchers based on due dates or individually or as a batch. Full audit controls insure distributions of cash. A wide variety of search and inquiry functions make reviewing payment history a snap. Additional features of our A/P system include positive pay, bank reconciliation, 1099 reporting, 1099 magnetic media generation, cash requirements reports, and prepay tracking. Our A/P system is fully integrated with our Purchase Order, Payroll, Egg Gradeout (egg settlement), Broiler Settlement, and Commodity Purchase systems.

 

CMC General Ledger System

This is a multi-company, multi-divisional General Ledger system that offers both combined reports and reports dedicated to a single division or group of accounts. It has a user configurable account structure that allows great flexibility in both the chart of accounts and the structuring of other reports. A versatile and friendly report generator gives you the option of creating your own reports. This system accumulates data from sub-ledgers in both dollars and units easily and reliably. Reports can include dollars, budget dollars, units (case, pound, dozen) or cents or unit, for any period.

 

CMC Payroll/Human Resource System

Our payroll handles all the needs of industrial and agricultural industries, both hourly and salary distributions. It handles all types of pay periods (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, annual). It provides for an unlimited number of employee deductions (401k, medical, garnishments, etc.) It also generates Federal, State and Local tax information, including W2's and magnetic media filing. Additional features include direct deposit, piece rate, multiple pay rates, double time and shift differential pay rates, bank reconciliation, ledger cards for individual employees, multi-state payrolls, automatic sick leave and vacation time posting and many other features. Our system also interfaces with most Time and Attendance Systems.

 

CMC Purchase Order System

The CMC Purchase Order System can be used stand-alone or integrated with CMC's Inventory and A/P software It includes two units of measure (i.e. cases and pounds) and it handles the needs of catch and weight products. Pricing can be set to reflect quantity discounts and the last price paid is automatically displayed. Vendors can be crossed referenced to show other vendors who offer the same product. The system also stores the vendor's product code for reference purposes. Defaults eliminate repetitive entries, then prices are calculated and dollars are totaled automatically. The system handles rail cars for bulk commodity purchases. On screen inquiry allows for quick checking of purchase order receipts. Easy look-up features Vendor Master, Product Master, and in Purchase Order Entry make finding data a breeze. The system also provides reports and Purchase Requirements, plus many other features.

 

CMC Commodity Purchase System

Designed for clients that purchase local grain, our commodity buying system creates a receipt ticket that takes the pounds received and converts weight to bushels. The receipt ticket records test weight, moisture, foreign material and other factors. It then calculates shrink and discounts based on user defined tables, 'Base' or 'Board' pricing is available, and contract are maintained. It interfaces with CMC's Accounts Payable for instant check printing. Split payments and partial payments are also allowed against individual tickets. The system includes reports to track open contracts, commodity purchase totals and check off liabilities.
