CHILSON'S MANAGEMENT CONTROLS (CMC) was established in 1973 by Dick Chilson as a benchmark consulting firm for commercial egg producers. CMC started processing flock records in 1974, and started selling software and computers to egg producers in 1977. The software has grown to a full service accounting and flock management package. CMC General Ledger
This is a multi-company, multi-center system with a built in report generator. It has a 10-digit user configurable account structure. Reports can be printed for any combination of companies, centers, accounts, or sub-accounts. Offers full budgeting, 12 or 13 periods plus an extra period for year end closes, unlimited history, stores units, does standard journal entries, automatic reversal of reversing entries, full audit trails, both accrual and cash accounting, and uses a built in report generator or downloads the trial balance into spreadsheets for formatting financial statements, special reports and graphing.
CMC Accounts Payable
The CMC Accounts Payable System has a six-character vendor number with the capability of up to 999 lines of distribution to multiple cost centers and accounts by division for each voucher created. There is an aging report, check register, check printing, invoice registers (which will also give you cash requirements), and bank reconciliation. It will generate 1099 forms, and store vendor history until purged by the operator. It also features screen inquiry for vendor lookup, and much more.
CMC A/R Sales Analysis
Sales Analysis Reports include units (cases, dozens, pounds, tons, etc.) as well as dollars. Profitability by customer and route is available. Has prior year comparisons by customer and product. Aging is configurable for six dates. Handles over and under payments, disputed invoices, short weights and returned items. It's easy to apply payments, it includes a cash collection report, screen inquiry, and has many other features.
CMC Purchase Order
The CMC Purchase Order System can be used stand-alone, or integrated with CMC's Inventory and A/P software. It includes two units of measure (i.e. cases and pounds). Pricing can be set to reflect quantity discounts, vendors can be crossed referenced. Defaults eliminates repetitive entries, prices are calculated and totaled automatically. Handles rail cars. Screen inquiry allow quick checking of orders and pricing, look-up features in Vendor Master, Product Master, and in Purchase Order Entry, plus many other features.
CMC Inventory
This system is for processing plants, perishable distribution and feed mills. It can be used stand-alone or integrated. It includes two units of measure (i.e. cases and pounds), product life in days, serial numbers, bar codes, minimum and maximum inventory level counts, weight, cubic footage and density codes, production formulas, imploding and exploding inventory, location transfers, screen inquiry for quantities, locations, aging, inventory codes, product costing, recalls, and more.
CMC Order Entry/Pricing
This program includes truck routing, base product pricing, market pricing, daily market pricing, market spread pricing, variance pricing, chain store pricing, level pricing, catch weight pricing, special pricing, feature pricing and custom pricing. This system will interface with EDI, automatically generates loading, shipping documents, and invoices (priced or unpriced). Handles standard orders, special bulk feed invoicing, fast screen order entry, and has many other features.
CMC Payroll
Handles industrial and agricultural payroll, full hourly and salary distribution. Handles all pay periods, unlimited deductions, generates all Federal, State and Local Tax information, piece rate, multiple pay rates, double time and shift differential pay rates, bank reconciliation, ledger cards for individual employees, multi-state payrolls, magnetic media filing, automatic sick leave and vacation time posting, hire and rehire, and many other features.
